How do I book you for my event/wedding?
A non-refundable initial payment and completed and signed contract is due at time of booking. Unfortunately, I am not able to hold dates. Your date is booked once both of those pieces are received. The initial payment is deducted from the day of and remaining balance is due on the event/wedding day.
What makeup brands do you use and do you offer airbrush foundation?
My kit contains high-end artistry and luxury brands such as Make Up For Ever, Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier, Becca, Urban Decay, Tarte, Armani, NARS, etc. I use tried-and-true products that feel amazing on the skin, offer all night wearability and photograph beautifully. I haven’t felt the need to incorporate airbrush yet because the products I use look flawless!
Do you offer makeup previews (trials) and what is the cost?
A bridal preview is not required but recommended. Trials are a preview of one makeup look for the wedding day and are up to a 90 minute consultation. I do trials on select weekdays and weekends out two locations in the East Bay and they are $200.00. We create the desired look for your wedding day by going through photos of you and inspiration photos and we will use those to customize the perfect wedding day look! It’s also a great way to meet each other, make sure we vibe and you love my style. Please note, a booked trial does not ensure a booked wedding date.
Trials will be scheduled based on contract booking & booked wedding date. Weekend trials will not be available during the months of April through October.
How many makeup services can you do on your own? Do you offer an additional artist?
If the number of makeup services is 7 or more, a second artist will be required. Also, depending on the time of your wedding and overall logistics, an additional artist may be required. An added benefit of having an additional artist is it allows for two+ services to be performed at once, cutting the getting ready time in half!
Do you travel and do you have a travel fee?
Yes! I am a freelance makeup artist and am based in the East Bay Area, but will travel anywhere. I am available for destination weddings worldwide! Travel fees are assessed per makeup artist and are based on location. Would be happy to provide a travel quote upon request.
Do you do hair?
I am passionate about makeup and love working with the best hairstylists. I’d be happy to refer you to some hair gals I work with often and highly recommend. It’s critical to have hair and makeup artists who work well together.
How long will my makeup application take?
If you are bride, please allow 1 hour for yourself and 45 minutes per member of the bridal party on the wedding day. I work with you (and the hairstylist) to create the beauty timeline for the day of.
Makeup lessons take anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours. For special event makeup, please allow up to 90 minutes.
